Better late that never to say that it was an absolute honor and dream come true to be invited to the @afo_olomouc @sandboxfilms Camp4Science 2026 workshop and pitch 🤲❤️ with our project ‘Maï & Miles - the jazziest story about physics ever told’ featuring @mai_curly_hair and @milesjaymusica supported by @screenscots 🙏 Produced by @sonjahenrici @nudge___nudge and co-produced by Esther Nissen @finalcutforreal and Stephanie Lebrun @babel_doc At AFO we found a community of madly passionate and absolutely likeminded filmmakers and supporters who merge great documentary storytelling and science in one. At a time where telling long form, true stories is challenging. The screenings where full, the atmosphere was bright with excitement and wonder. It would amazing to come back with our film once we are done 🙂❤️. @cphdox analogue 📸 are here and I’m obsessed! 😍 From premieres to parties to pitches, this year’s festival was so eventful and exciting! 🤩 I am honoured and humbled to have engaged with some many talented people and their ground-breaking work. Showing @allriversspill to the audiences for the first time was extremely gratifying 🦞 🌊🦀 Meeting colleagues old and new gave me a much needed push to keep creating, shaping, sharing… 🌱Thank you all so much for making this a wonderful experience, and as always a massive thanks to @scottishdocinstitute and @screenscots for their continuous support of our work ✨

On my way to Copenhagen, I’ve been thinking about the long journey that brought All Rivers Spill Their Stories to the Sea to life. I feel incredibly grateful for the trust and patience that @jeaniefinlay and @charliechar placed in me as an emerging producer, working on a film that is both personal and universally resonant. Navigating the waters of co-production with these two powerhouses has been a true privilege and an education. I’ve learned so much along the way, and it feels like this is just the beginning. This film exists because of an extraordinary crew whose dedication and care shaped every stage of the process. I want to give a special shout-out to the Scottish talent who helped bring it across the finish line - the brilliant team at @seriousfacilities and our wonderful composer @lomond_campbell with the vital support of @screenscots And a special thank you to @scottishdocinstitute for their continued support. @allriversspill will have its World Premiere on Tuesday 17 March at 16:30 at @cphdox , with additional screenings on the 19th and 22nd. I am on my way to the first session of @eurodoc 2026! The first workshop takes place in Portugal, a country that holds special meaning for both my personal and professional journey. It feels particularly meaningful to begin this process there, working on Before Our Diaspora, a project that itself is about returning stories to their origins. Before Our Diaspora is a film shaped by archive discovery, memory, and the reintroduction of lost images and histories back to the communities they belong to. At this moment in the life of the film, and for me as a producer, joining this programme feels very significant. I’m grateful to be part of a space dedicated to thoughtful collaboration and growth alongside inspiring producers. Huge thank you to the director of Before Our Diaspora, @theos_perspective , for the trust in bringing me onto this journey, and to @screenscots and the @britishcouncil for supporting my participation. Still catching my breath after an incredible month of festivals — Geneva Impact Days, CPH:DOX, East Doc Platform, and Visions du Réel! Endless thanks to everyone I met along the way — for the conversations, the laughs, the shared late nights, and early sessions. To the brave filmmakers who put their hearts into their projects and dared to tell the stories that matter — I see you, and I’m inspired. Grateful for every project that moved me, challenged me, stayed with me. And to the comrades out there fighting for documentary film — your work is vital. This journey gave me something different at every stop, but each part of it was deeply special.
