4 members of Nuclear Wild Forest Team took on the 400m National Trials at PT Barn today.
All showing they had different strengths throughout the course and all putting down competitive times.
Alexander (@cookie_ocr_uk ) showed the masters how it should be done with setting a time of 3:45!
Rob (@robertboarder ) came close to Alex’s time with 3:49 on his second run.
Andy (@andrewdurrance ) proved age was just a number by knocking 33 seconds off his first run to complete his second run in 4:17.
Tamar (@attiva_yoga ) faced some tough competition in the ladies and managed to hold on to overall 🥉by 1 second in a time of 4:44.
Now to switch focus back to the longer courses as many of the team members look forward to competing on home ground for the British Championships next Saturday.
Last weekend was World’s Toughest Mudder in USA. Ruth not only took on the course, but absolutely smashed it! She completed 65 miles and 230 obstacles in 24 hours 41 minutes of non-stop racing. This is the furthest she’s ever run for and double the time of her ETM attempt. She finished 22nd female overall and 🥈in her age group. Thankfully she didn’t get eaten by any of the alligators 🤣

Dan and Tamar took on the epic course on Mammoth Mountain last week for @ocrwc . The altitude and elevation was the main challenge along with the heat.
@danieltitcomb95 raced pro and finished 9th in the short course and 10th in the standard course. He capped his weekend off with 🥇in the pro men’s team race. 👏
@attiva_yoga raced age group and finished 🥈in the short course and 🥉in the standard course but also was ranked 9th and 11th in the ladies overall. 🥳
Third nuclear fit event of the year and another successful outing for the @nuclearwildforestteam .
@wildforestalex & @ryan.ibbotson took on the men’s doubles and came 🥉, Sarah took 🥉 in the ladies Storm, Claire came 4th overall & 🥇 in age group in the ladies race and Andy & Jamie came 15th in the men’s doubles.
Lots of really exciting races today with perfect conditions making for some very fast times.

@charlotteteall took part in her first @deka.fit at @forders_gym today. Smashing a time of 46 mins and 24 seconds 👏 Well done and fantastic training coming into winter Hyrox season.
Today was the Nuts 3K race for the British Championships and also the @3km_ocr_seriesuk . It was a very wet and muddy course with only a few well placed technical rigs.

A special mention for Izzy at only 13 years old stepping up to race her first competitive elite race. She led the race for about a kilometre proving how strong her running and rigs are. Definitely one to watch for the future.

Body Hub Beast Race Review:
This was the 7th race in the UKOCR series. With an initial run loop followed by two laps of very dense obstacles and a heavy carry, it was never going to be an easy race. But once again, everyone from Wild Forest Team podiumed!

Day 1 at the FISO World Championships in Costa Rica saw the Young family take home a full set of medals on the 3k course. @cam_ocr 🥉10-11 boys, @ukocr.izzyx 🥈 12-13 girls and @wildforestalex 🥇40-44 men. Well done team. Let’s see what day 2 can bring with our new world champion racing in the standard course.
Good luck to Captain @wildforestalex and our rookies @ukocr.izzyx and @cam_ocr , who all take on the 3K course tomorrow at the World Championships in Costa Rica. Izzy and Cam are racing early at just after 8am and Alex at 10am (-7 hours from GMT).
@spartanraceuk South West Race Review. Dan, Alex and Tamar raced in the Pro Sprint wave and Andy, Ruth and Charlotte in the Age Group Sprint wave for the @uk.ocr series race. A fast, flat course with relatively easy obstacles saw @danieltitcomb95 finishing 🥈, @wildforestalex 15th, @attiva_yoga 8th, @andrewdurrance AG🥉, @dr_ruthie_b AG🥇and @charlotteteall AG 8th. Charlotte also then ran the Beast open wave and felt much stronger in her running. Congratulations to Ruth who also completed the Spartan Age Group Series taking overall 🥇
