Closing out 2021 with “Brick Wall”. This song is about mental health. As a society and especially as men, we’re taught to remain guarded and hide our feelings. We have internal battles that we hide from the outside world for fear that we’re “weak” or that we’ll be bothering someone if we ask for help. We act as a brick wall to block people from coming in, while at the same time, we end up hitting a brick wall when stuck to face our emotions alone.
This song expresses the inner thoughts of someone who has hit this metaphorical brick wall.
