I went to @decolonisefest in london and all I had was the best time. black joy, brown joy, so much joy and expression, super lucky to take it all in and lots of love to all the incredible volunteer team who organized the festival! it was a really beautiful and refreshing way to re-align my relationship to live music. despite being across the darn ocean I felt very much at home at decolonise fest and really lucky to take it all in. punks of colour to the front forever and always, thatās where the healing is. and itās still free palestine, itās still rock & roll for liberation and nothing less, and itās still time to start a band with your friends and talk about the things that matter, yeah
there is no music without community and thereās no community without a collective commitment to liberation in big and small ways,
