Kevin Stebner has found a way to almost create his own genre of music, a style of Post-Hardcore those in the know refer to as "Stebnerian" - After 15 years in some of Calgary's most notable Post-Hardcore projects (Stalwart Sons, Prepared) as well as forays into Psychy-Alt-Country (Cold Water) and even chiptune (GreyScreen), Stebner (guitars/vox) has once again taken up the speed and anger of previous bands, this time delving a little deeper into power pop territory and post-punk leanings, and with a little more wry humour. With the help of David Tkach on Bass (Big Knife Little Knife, Giant Sons) and Steven Duggins on Drums (UK’s Tupolev Ghost, Fuzzy Lights), Fulfilment are that power trio you need in your life. I’ve been a  huge fan of all of these projects, but Fulfilment is my favourite. Their newest record, Husky House is a gem, from top to bottom. Thoughtful, emotional post-punk. It’s so damn good.
