The 98th Oscars celebrating the worldwide animation phenomenon of “K Pop Demon Hunters” with a prologue celebrating Korean culture and one of the biggest songs of the year, “Golden”! A very special thank you to Mandy Moore, Amanda Balen and our incredible wardrobe team lead by Katja Cahill.

Dance took the spotlight at the 2026 Academy Awards last night as a celebration of community and identity. In a musical tribute to “Sinners,” with creative direction led by the film’s head choreographer, Aakomon “AJ” Jones (@jonescurated ), artists performed in a range of genres—hip hop, Lindy Hop, slow drag, Zaouli, Chinese classical, and more. Ballet star Misty Copeland (@mistyonpointe ) rounded out the number, wearing the iconic “Firebird” costume designed by Geoffrey Holder for Dance Theatre of Harlem’s 1982 production (@dancetheatreofharlem ). Later, in a tribute to “K-Pop Demon Hunters,” dancers dressed in traditional Korean hanbok opened a performance of “Golden,” winner of best original song.
