‘Happy Happy Doom Scroll’ the current exhibition at our Sharing Not Hoarding space has survived a lot of rain and wind in recent weeks. Showing in Slesser Gardens until march 15. It’s an exhibition showcasing a research project ‘Young Digital Lives’ made with the young people at Dundee’s Hot Chocolate Trust @hotchoctrust
Our latest exhibition Merry Go Round at Nomas* features new work by Louise Schmid. @louiseschmid Showing until March 12 the work invites consideration of being shown in the bleakest part of the year when we look back to what had been and forward to what is possible in the future. ‘Especially This Time of Year’ by Sophie Killingley @sophiekillingley is the new exhibition at Nomas* It has a focus on the nativity narrative from a fresh perspective. Instead of a cute baby lying in the straw next to some very friendly cattle, Sophie reveals parts of the story that include, teenage pregnancy, political displacement and a massacre of innocent children. It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas
