About the speaker
Robin Rogers was born and raised on the banks of the Scioto river in Dublin, Ohio. At a young age he spent countless hours rearranging the stones in a nearby stream to create a more efficient and harmonious flow of water. Working with molten glass since 1995, Robin has been continually engaged with the process of blowing/sculpting the fascinating material. He holds a BFA from the Columbus College of Art and Design, 1998, and an MFA from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, Carbondale, IL, 2008. He is the Program Director at the Chrysler Museum of Art Perry Glass Studio, Norfolk, VA, and is a perpetual student of art and life.
