2025 is over. Definitely one of the biggest years of my life. Although being exceptionally hard work, the sheer amount of people I’ve met and projects I’ve worked on has been insane. Blocked Together has screened at 8 different festivals and has made me an “award-winning filmmaker 😜” (guess that’s something I can officially call myself now though it sounds pretty weird so only using it occasionally). I feel like I’ve changed a great deal and I’ve been so inspired by all the people I’ve met and places I’ve seen. Eternally grateful to the people who’ve made this possible, even to those who don’t know how much they’ve helped! And hello to all the 2000+ FOLLOWERS who have joined me this year what the heck!?!?!!?? Seriously thank you so much for all the kind words that’s started coming my way in 2025 it’s been incredible to have people supporting me on my odd little journey 😂. Things have come a long way from making iPhone movies in fields in the English countryside and now this is a full-on career I’m starting out in but the fun of it still persists! Hoping to finish up a few projects in 26 and also begin something brand new I’ve been wanting to create for a while but never had the time for, hope you all have a brilliant new year and thank you for 2025. Ok just one more project I swear! Been shooting a new short film this past month, a 90s inspired sci-fi film: ‘Belly of the Beast’ written by @ilovelizards223 ! Super fun project and team to close out the year with, definitely a fun change of tone and hopefully it’s gonna look great once we get some stills out! Last weekend I participated in the 2025 Sussex Film Challenge at @cinecitybrighton film festival. With only 36 hours to make a film, we were given an assortment of prompts to include; an egg, a park and the genre of a silent film!
