Why should your organisation join in ❓️
😃We will aim to make the event as much fun as possible and encourage participation and attendance. We will also help promote your duck (and therefore your organisation). Any money raised will go towards community events in Fakenham, and a contribution is also being made to local schools and Fakenham First Focus.
• The event is widely promoted across a range of media, including the local press, social media, and our websites.
• Your Duck can be decorated with your own identifying livery. You can either decorate it yourself or we can arrange for it to be decorated by a local school or community group.
• Once decorated, we will display the ducks in the town centre until the day of the race.
• We will arrange a photo opportunity where you can be photographed with your duck.
• You will be supporting Active Fakenham and local charities.
• The winning company will have a cup to display for the year, and there are some exciting prizes.
📃How it works
A payment of £75 will secure your organisation a place in the Fakenham Giant Duck Race-and the duck is yours to keep! You can decorate your Duck to advertise your organisation ……the brighter the better! If your business already owns a Duck from a previous ‘Active Fakenham Duck Race’ the entry cost is reduced to £50. If you do not want to decorate your own duck, we can arrange for a local school to do this for you.
💰Any money raised will go towards community events in Fakenham, and a contribution is also being made to Fakenham First Focus. We also support three local schools by donating tickets to them.

Central Cinema Fakenham has three screens and is located in a beautiful, listed Victorian building - showing blockbusters and screenings from National Theatre Live 🎞️
It is also the focal point for the Active Fakenham Film Festival 🎬

The full programme of events will take place in the town centre with closed roads enabling competitors and spectators a safe space to enjoy all the activities.
The Easter Sunday Runday 1K offers Local clubs and community groups an invitation to take part showcasing their organisations and activities as part of the event.
