my first song in french, my first language, but for some reason, I’ve always felt intimidated by its phrasing, its wordiness. There’s a sort of desperation here mixed with a bit of hope, with the darkness always close by. To me, it has a type of orange glow, kind of like a sunset when the colors are slowly disappearing, but right before, there’s this last display of brightness, comfort.
Arrête, j’pas encore brisée
