An executive order to defund PBS was found unconstitutional this week. But our federal funding was cut and that’s not coming back.
Congress has already voted to deny funding, and the effects are real for the programs and services we provide every day.
Public media is more than a broadcast and we will continue to promote our mission: creating media that educates, informs, entertains and inspires. And it’s made possible by viewers like you.
Your support matters now more than ever.
Without your support, our content can’t exist. Starting today, October 1st, NJ PBS is no longer funded by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. Since 1967, the CPB has supported all of your favorite documentaries, children’s programming, trusted news, and more. Thank you to the Corporation for Public Broadcasting for almost 60 years of partnership and support. You will be missed.

Directed by Jaimie D’Cruz and Ed Perkins, the documentary offers an unflinching look at the psychological toll of constant creation on both the artist and the people closest to him.
