*DRAG SERIES PISTONS VS NITTO SHELF PISTONS*
We're very lucky to have a company like @cpcarrillo_ in our corner who we can collaborate with very easily to create industry leading piston combinations. We have a comprehensive range of pistons to suit all sorts of performance levels with different design philosophes behind each, and they work! This write up shows the differences between RB30 3.2L Drag Series pistons and 3.2L Nitto shelf pistons.
The Drag Series pistons are for very specific use cases. Although branded as "Drag Series", there are plenty of high performance, high load and high power circuit builds that use these pistons. They utilise the CP Turbo HD forgings, full round skirt, gas ports and PVD rings amongst other features to be the world beating pistons that they are. When you're targeting high load, high power and punishing usage, the Drag Series pistons are the perfect fit for you.
At the other end of the scale, we have the highly diverse capabilities of the Nitto shelf pistons. The Nitto shelf pistons start from the same Turbo HD forging as the Drag Series pistons, but do not have some of the features that are specific to the Drag Series - they're not necessary for engines that are not highly strung race engines. These are targeted at higher performance street style engines that are used and enjoyed frequently, but also feature heavily in circuit, drag and drift applications with relative comfort!

We thought it was about time to share some numbers on our shop car. It made a spicy 1200hp on 40psi. Powered by a @nittoperformanceengineering 3.3 stroker kit and a @turbosmarthq 8280 turbo, tuned by @minna.motorsport .Follow along for a full build breakdown #turbosmart #nissanskyline #2jz #stroker #haltech

@mrvlt6 made its much anticipated debut at Motorex and held its own against the elite and other tough VLs
Having already made an impressive 1054kw @ 50psi, the VL is currently the most powerful RB25/30 in the country but we are not stopping there.. stay tuned for the 1100kw dyno and back to the track to chase numbers and more roll racing titles.

2MK update⦠the FuelTech FT600 is wired in and ready to go - All thatās left now is to chuck it on the dyno and start prepping for @gtr.festival next week š
Drop your power guesses below ā what do you reckon itāll make? š„³š„³

KANTA getting some proper run-in boost now while testing the Turbosmart 8280 setup.
Currently making a clean 1020hp through a locked ZF8 8-speed auto at only 31psi, and this is just the beginning. Over the next few months weāll be doing more development on the combo, testing different cam setups and cam timing strategies, then eventually spraying it with gas to really lean on it.
Even with the current setup, thereās nearly 1000rpm of response sitting in the intake cam timing alone on this little Nitto 2.8 package. Goes to show how much is in the calibration and combination, not just throwing parts at it.
One of the coolest parts about this car is thereās basically no original Nissan electronics left in it anymore. The entire Attessa system is now custom programmed and controlled via PDM, the whole car runs through multiple PDMs, fully keypad controlled with automated mode switching and functions throughout the car by whiteys wiring.
This is one of the shop cars built by Matt, myself and the owner together. Some of you will remember it as AKR32.
Pretty wild seeing a clean, responsive 1020hp through an auto RB combo.
