Lights, camera, @billieeilish . At just 24 years old, the 10-time Grammy winner and two-time Oscar winner has existed in the public consciousness for a decade now. But this May, a new concert documentary attempts to capture her star power and stage presence in a new light—through the eyes of legendary director James Cameron, no less. Eilish never thought she’d make another documentary after 2021’s ‘Billie Eilish: The World’s a Little Blurry,’ which closely documented her adolescence and the making of her sensational 2019 debut album. “I’m so private about my actual life now,” Eilish tells ELLE, but when the ‘Avatar’ filmmaker came calling, she knew she had to pick up—and co-direct the film alongside him. In ELLE’s May 2026 cover story, Eilish opens up about collaborating with Cameron, how her personal and professional relationship with her brother @finneas has evolved, and her activist spirit: “I make art and music to reach people, to help people.” Read the full interview at the link in bio. @louisvuitton ’s Mythica high jewelry collection unfolded at @kasbahdif just outside Marrakech, surrounded by desert ,the view of the Atlas Mountains and the beauty of this incredible place. The jewelry inspired by legends felt timeless and mysterious. I was personally drawn to a moonstone necklace that mirrored the full moon above us . Sunset gave way to dinner under the stars, music and fireworks closed the evening , pure magic.✨✨💫. @elleusa

The first time I went to Tokyo, I thought I knew what to expect. But nothing prepares you for the sheer perfection of it all—from the food to the smallest everyday rituals. And yet, for all its sophistication and obsession with detail, Tokyo is also a playful city, its balance of discipline and whimsy irresistibly pulling me and so many other travelers back. For this month’s Insider Guide, I’m looking back on my many visits to this Japanese metropolis and enlisting the recommendations of @themarcjacobs and @zacposen , as well as director (and ELLE Women of Impact cover star) @sofiacoppola . From serene hidden gardens to unforgettable meals and great shopping gems, join us—and subscribe now at the link in bio to read.

@billieeilish is still finding new dimensions. For one, she tells ELLE she’s eyeing some acting opportunities. In March, it was reported that Eilish was in talks to make her film acting debut in an upcoming adaptation of Sylvia Plath’s 1963 novel ‘The Bell Jar.’ Though the role itself is yet to be announced, Oscar-winning director Sarah Polley will be at the helm. Might she direct a film of her own one day? That’s up in the air, but according to director James Cameron, the most heroic role Eilish could play—at least for the moment—is herself. For as long as she’s been in the public eye, @billieeilish has faced countless discussions about her fashion choices—and her body. “I’m not the first person who’s worn baggy clothes,” she says of her wardrobe, citing inspirations like Harlem fashion influencer Bloody Osiris (@bloodyosiris ) and hip-hop icons Tyler, the Creator (@feliciathegoat ) and Missy Elliott (@missymisdemeanorelliott ). She notes the freedom of movement afforded by these clothes, and the resulting gender euphoria. “I had a really, really toxic relationship with my body,” Eilish tells ELLE. ”I didn’t want to be seen as feminine, and therefore weak. It’s not right. I’ve found a good way of not feeling like that.” In ELLE’s May 2026 cover story, Eilish contemplates her newfound relationship with touring, her brother, her body, and more. @siennaspiro may be recovering from a breakup, but she isn't exactly heartbroken. After all, there's little time to wallow when her breakthrough hit, ”Die on This Hill,” echoes through seemingly every video on social media. The 20-year-old Londoner resonates with a particular subset of oversharers, hopeless romantics, and, most importantly, yearners. Yearning has a sound—and in Spiro’s case, it’s spellbinding and brooding. Music is how Spiro—who says she was the lonely, “weird” girl growing up—overcame her struggle to connect with peers and gave language to her big emotions. “I get very overwhelmed by the way I feel, and I’ve always had a strong sense of justice, but didn’t really know how to express that,” she says. These days, with a debut album in the works, “I always have more to say.” For ELLE's Women in Music issue, Spiro opens up about the cinematic world she's created where longing isn't embarrassing; it's the point. Winning one of the most sought-after Grammys—Best New Artist—as your first-ever award is iconic in and of itself, but it’s a fitting result of the momentum @oliviadeano has been riding since the release of her sophomore album, ‘The Art of Loving.’ Somehow, between feeling starstruck and in shock, Dean managed to give one of the most heartwarming speeches of the night that she dedicated to a personal hero. The decision to speak about her maternal grandmother, who immigrated to the U.K. from Guyana at age 18, was a natural one: “I’d spoken to my mum and my auntie at home, and they said, ‘You’re a representative of this family, and you’re a representative of your grandmother’s bravery.’ It felt completely sincere in that moment to acknowledge her. I’m living the life that I’m living because of her.” In ELLE’s Women in Music cover story, Dean reflects on the lessons the women in her family have taught her, navigating internet discourse amid her new stratosphere of fame, and on her fight to take on ticket resellers. Presenting ELLE’s Women in Music cover star: @oliviadeano . The British singer is everywhere, and for good reason. Since the release of her hit sophomore album, ‘The Art of Loving,’ the newly-minted Grammy winner for Best New Artist has taken the world by storm with her soulful and captivating meditations on love, romance, and compassion in a year that felt far too void of those feelings. Ahead of her sold-out world tour, Dean tells @sylviaobell all about her standout year. Read the full cover story at the link in bio.
