Finally took some time to compare my Maselec MEA-2 Hardware against the Relab Plugin. The Curves are pretty close but the Transients come through much better with the Hardware. Plugin sounds more flat and 2D to me. I really wished it could replace my Hardware but I can still hear a +8000€ difference! Just for fun I also compared it to the MBS/MH Sontec MES-432D9D Plugin which I liked even less… #mixing #mastering #maselec #prismsound
