When Joyce Charat (BFA ‘20) moved from France to the U.S. knowing no one—and barely speaking English—she could only imagine the creative life she’s living now: traveling the world as an editorial and fashion photographer, inspiring the next generation of image-makers.
At the heart of her story? Persistence, purpose, and an ArtCenter education that gave her the tools to turn vision into reality.
Now, as an official Nikon Creator, Joyce hosts workshops for aspiring photographers and shares this message with future artists:
