Common Reflection is a cozy space that aims to weave connections among artists and organisations within the Brussels Artist Run Network (BARN), and to nurture a supportive ecosystem for artists to connect and get feedback on their work. We aim to dedicate 45 minutes to each artist, each individually presenting a wide variety of artistic work. Thursday, 4th of April, 2024 from 18:00h to 22:00h @ Rue de l'Hectolitre 3, Reactor We begin every evening with collective cooking because we believe this is an important step towards building relations. Then we have a dinner, during which three artists present an artwork, specifically made for this occasion, or not. Every gathering will take place in another artist-run space, which will also get some time to present themselves. We will make a vegan curry dish - bring veggies, snacks, and drinks. Glints In the Dirt. Tomorrow is the last day for a visit to see our show at @pram.studio . @marikakrcmarova @marimapech For this exhibition, next to my sculptures, I showed a new film: Endo / Exo. In ancient times, stars were considered to be guides. Similarly, winds guided beings to certain beliefs of existence, whether winds were seen as Great Spirits or to universal flowing forces as animism. Both stars and winds erupt with symbolic elements and have guided different cultures' cosmology through spiritual and social transformations. Inspired by ancient cultures to seek relation with natural phenomena, Endo / Exo reflects on the relation established to “wind” through an empirical approach by ‘experiencing’ the mysteries of what we are. Endo / Exo is displayed as a method, that at the same time can be understood as seeking for inner meaning of things. Creating an atmospheric and immersive atmosphere by using image and sound this film exposes the complexity of living in modern society, presenting arresting moments of winds, focusing on the wind's ability to manifest itself in an uncontrolled way and attest to one’s own experience of a meaningful, valuable, and colorful world. The unravels of nature happens when you surrender to your darkest face of the mirror, spiraling interiorly and exteriorly, facing the true vail. Nature will bloom when an individual surrenders; given the favorable soil of the will to believe. A new seed becomes a thought - of pure superstitious or realizable truth, and will take root, flourish and make the individual for what they really are.

Butterflies keeps appearing in my dreams. I neither feel reborn or a miracle in life. I’ll sit patiently to witness any sign of transformation.

I like to seek refuge in like-minded utopia where traditions as dreaming is allowed as a place for wisdom
