Come watch my new work at the end of the month!🫧PALITROQUE, premiering Feb 26-28th @miamilightproject 🌀🪁
PALITROQUE is a contemporary dance work exploring memory, nostalgia, and cultural identity through the immigrant experience of clutter. The work transforms personal history into a layered and immersive experience of diasporic reflection by incorporating family relics, 3D and 2D projected visuals by @oh_dingi , and an original sound score by @amar.is.online@diegounchained 🫧🪅🧸
Performed by myself, @supjesusx & Victoria Mora

Artist Spotlight: Nicole Pedraza ✨
Nicole Pedraza is a contemporary dance artist of Nicaraguan & Mexican descent that is fueled by cross disciplinary collaborations in visual art, music, and technology. Through her movement vocabulary she explores intimacy, identity, parallels to nature and humanity, cultural themes, and shifting power dynamics. Nicole is an artist with Syncopate Collective and has been commissioned by Miami Light Project’s Here and Now, Miami Dance Hub, Locust Project’s Wavemaker Grant, and Miami DanceMakers at the Perez Art Museum. Through workshops and performance, she explores how movement, nature, and different artistic disciplines influence one another and bridges cultural and generational knowledge.
Nicole is collaborating with movement artist Maria Burt and visual artist Diago León Lang for the showing.
