Here’s a good look at the overall scope of work. I painted the signs on the exterior stucco walls last summer. We just finished up the windows last week. Thank you to my homeboy @pandamonium.sign.co for all his help with the water gilding and sharing his knowledge. It was very fun getting to work with him and I learned a lot about water gilding! From 2015 -2018 we painted the Taschen Gallery on Beverly Blvd. It was a great time and place to be. Every exhibit they put on was a challenge and was so fun to be a a part of. A look back to 2015 when we designed and painted the signage for the legendary Regent Theater in DTLA. The designs were a combination of influence from architectural details of the building and traditional hand lettering. What a time that was and an honor to be a part of history.
This project specifically spawned the idea of @NicSoncreative for Nicole and I to combine our skills, experience and knowledge in designing. It’s inspiring to see where @nicoletrachdesigns and I started back then and this is just the beginning! Can’t wait to show you what our team at NicSon Creative is working on!
