🚫Access: DENIED is a disability advocacy drag show built 100% by disabled people to empower disabled drag artists. We are here to put accessibility front and CENTER on stage and behind the curtains! Not as a bonus but as the blueprint of the entire night. This show is built to celebrate disabled drag artists, creating a space that has been made intentionally and equitably accessible for performers often excluded from accessible participation in the mainstream drag scene.
🧑🦼🦻🦮 Expect ASL interpretation, a livestream, a true ground-level stage, mobility-aid-friendly seating, thoughtful lighting to showcase every performer, a scent-reduced space, and no strobes or moving lights.
😷 Masks are highly encouraged but not mandatory to accommodate diverse access needs such as D/deaf and hard of hearing community members. High quality masks will be provided at the door, and covid safety protocols will be in place, including HEPA filters and mask mandatory zones, to help keep the space safer for all.
