UPDATE‼️: Last Call to Shop Online. After many years of serving our community online, our website will officially close on February 28th. This is your final chance to place an online order before the site is taken down permanently. Our storefront will remain open a little longer as we begin clearing out the remaining inventory, as well as fixtures and display pieces. First of all, Wow. The response from our closing announcement has been honestly overwhelming.. We've already shed a lot of tears (in the good, grateful way!) Your messages, comments, and calls mean more to us than you can imagine. To all the performers, artists, friends and creative folks who have already reached out to us in the past 24 hours.. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Here is a letter some of you have already read, but this has a little more information regarding our closure. "Dear Friends, and Valued Clients, It is with heavy hearts that we inform you that, after 26 unforgettable years in business, Studio F/X will be closing its doors permanently. This decision has not been easy, and it comes with deep gratitude for everyone who has supported us throughout our journey. For more than two decades, Studio F/X has had the privilege of being part of the fabric of downtown Vancouver’s retail community. We have watched the neighborhood grow and change, welcomed generations of artists, students, performers, and creators, and shared in countless conversations, projects, and moments of excitement... To every customer who has walked through our doors, Thank you. Whether you're a regular or only visited us once.. Your passion, creativity, and trust in us have shaped who we are. We know many of you will be saddened by this closure, just as we are. Please know that the feeling is mutual; this store has been more than a workplace. It has been a home, a community hub, and a place where artistry and imagination have thrived. As we prepare for our final days, we will be starting closing-out promotions. All store inventory will be discounted and available in limited quantities. We strongly encourage any gift certificate holders to redeem them as soon as possible. While we do not have an exact closing date to share yet, we do know that we will likely be gone by Spring 2026. We hope you’ll stop by so we can personally thank you for your support and say goodbye in person. Happy Holidays!! ❄️ Studio Fx will be closed from the 24th to the 29th of December, as well as January 1st. We will be back open on Tuesday December 30th. Shopping online will still be available during this time.All online orders placed during that time will be shipped out on the 30th and 31st. Our Liquidation sales will continue in the new year, with an increase on discounts starting January 2nd. ⛄️

Great News Everybody! Canada Post has announced they are progressing to rotating strikes. That means we will start sending parcels out via Canada Post on Tuesday October 14th. Some delays are still to be expected as the backlog of parcels are cleared and things get moving again. If you are needing your orders to get to you before Halloween, We strongly recommend selecting Express and Priority post options.
