Cuando llegué a México tenía poquísimo español (ahora un poco más jaja), pero aun así logré hacer amigos gracias al amor por la música. @mood_hsm y yo nos conocimos justo así, y aunque en ese momento casi no podíamos decirnos mucho, los dos sabíamos que estábamos en la misma vibra. Some clips from my b2b @dramaradiobar set with boss @oliveriosegura I got to spend my birthday doing what I love most, sharing and playing music with friends. It was the big 40, almost 20 years playing records and not even the least bit sick of it yet. Top top moment was @mariaberjon bringing me a cake while Oli played one of my favourite ever tracks - Johnny D - Orbitalife @la.marea.marea @annneeettteee___ @soosisoos @pierrepalmi all played incredibly too. Thank you everyone who came and @emilianodv and @seagit_arc for making it happen ❤️‍🔥

I'm super grateful to have had this summer, but it was probably one of the busiest I can remember work wise. It's been hard sometimes to get the time and energy away from work to focus on playing music. Despite this, I've been collecting records like a mad man and knew I was keeping them for something special... Now back in Mexico, I'm super excited to return to @funk_club and warm up the dancefloor for an artist I've been following for the best part of 20 years. The @mountainpeoplemusic was very much a part of my late university days, learning to mix their first release on vinyl and especially hammering their tracks at many parties and after parties. So nostagia a plenty and he's still killing it after all this time! Gonna be a special one! 🙏 and even better to have brother @papa__jazz with me for this one!

Sometimes a collaboration happens instantaneously and sometimes it's years in the making. @joedelon and I were both stomping knee deep in mud at the infamous Glade Festival in 2007. We both swerved the intense psytrance on offer for more minimal techno offerings, barely able to lift our feet from the sticky mud to dance. We didn't actually meet that fateful weekend, but since then, we have both been on our individual musical journeys, crossing paths at festivals in weird and wonderful locations while discovering music we love in every genre. It seems fitting that we now do a b2b at @bicho.tepoz in Tepoztlán, another unlikely crossing of paths in the mountains of Mexico, sharing some of the eclectic sounds we have gathered in the 18 years since that muddy weekend in Berkshire.

Además, organiza una fiesta mensual en Drama Radio con el mismo nombre, creando espacios cómodos y envolventes tanto como anfitriona como productora. SAVANA invites // @nickcobby Nick Cobby, a true eclectic DJ, began mixing 90's breakbeat records at Nottingham's basement parties in 2008. His club sets seamlessly blend house, disco, acid, breaks, tech, trance, and more, crafting a narrative journey on the dance floor. After residencies in London, Dimensions Festival, and two tours of Japan, he moved to Mexico, where he plays in Mexico City clubs and organizes magical outdoor parties in Tepoztlán. Under his 'Field Trips' alias, he hosts a monthly Netil Radio show in London, delving into downtempo, ambient, and experimental electronic sounds. Nick is also a visual artist, creating live music visuals with 2D, 3D, stop-motion, projection mapping, coding, and generative art. & @ritamaomenos Rita Maomenos, a Portuguese native, has carved a unique niche with her cinematic and complex style. She started in Rotterdam's gritty scene and recently brought her fresh perspective back to Lisbon. Her music, inspired by societal complexities and modern anguish, ranges from social critique to hedonistic escape. As a former resident at Club Perron and a regular on Operator radio, Rita crafts mysterious journeys with unconventional drum patterns and eerie soundscapes. Was an amazing April and May with lots of gigs, this was one of the many highlights, a set at the @dramaradiobar birthday in Mexico City. Got to play a bit faster than usual - a bunch of electro, breaks, and a sprinkle of trance and UKG for good measure. Alongside a bunch of friends @barbschmarb @pierod and more - a super sweaty and smokey affair.
