@lacma has a new visitor’s campus map, illustrated by me! Designed by @davidkarwan (and huge thanks to David for adding me to the project!) Usually, I’m printing other people’s work. Today, I was able to see my illustration work printed by LACMA. It was an incredible feeling to walk for hours and hours around the new David Geffen Galleries absorbing the centuries and centuries of collected art within, while people all around me are holding and looking at something I drew! Surreal!

In the lead up to the Brooklyn Fine Art Print Fair, we wanted to revisit our limited edition silkscreen print with New York based artist, Anders Lindseth (@anders_lindseth ). Zero Days Without Problems, illustrated and printed by our resident Printmaker Nick Perry (@nick3am ), chronicles the mishaps, accidents, crashes, and disasters that occurred during the first two years of Problems Printing. The print is part comic relief, part ode to the chaos of starting a new studio in a new place. The problems never stopped—so we allowed them to be a part of the story. Mixing colors to match his thread palette, while also printing on a dark blue paper, was a great challenge but also a fun puzzle to solve. When Scott ( @swhedrick ) asked me to art direct his first solo album, Devotional Drift vol. 1, I was beyond honored to work with such a phenomenal musician and also a good friend. Once we realized he needed some updated pics, I dusted off my ol’ Canon Rebel and we had a fun afternoon of catching up, talking music, and trying to get at least one usable photo! The second pic ended up being the choice shot for the back of the album, but there were so many other shots I love that haven’t seen the light of the internet!
