Here’s a first look at frames from my debut feature @lifecouldbeadreamofficial . We’re in the final stages of post-production and can’t wait to share this special film with you soon.
Last week, our incredible cinematographer @the_other_meg_white received Gold at the @austcine.nsw Awards for Best Cinematography on a Feature under $5M — for this very film. I can’t express how deeply deserved this feels. Meg is one of the hardest-working, most meticulous, and visionary artists I know. The dream for me was collaborating with her — our worlds and creative visions aligning so perfectly.
Meg was supported by her dream camera team:
1st AC @fionajanet — always holding the key vision in mind, with an emotional backup plan for every situation.
2nd AC @nash_viso — quiet, calm, and unwavering strength on set.
Huge thanks to @nicgodoy and @panavisionofficial for coming on board as industry partners and believing in this film from the start.

Hey fellow optics nerds!
I keep these PV Optics whiskey charts by my desk, and they’ve sparked a lot of conversations with DPs over time. They’re a great visual guide to where different Panavision lens series (Spherical/Anamorphic/S35/LF) sit on the spectrum of visual characteristics.
The sharpness-to-softness scale reflects traits like veiling glare, aberrations, coma, flaring, and edge performance. A lens with higher contrast tends to produce a cleaner, sharper image, while softer lenses show more character and mood. A useful guide to help choose a lens type for a specific visual style.
I am no lens tech, but always happy to chat about glass and geek out on optics anytime.
