Today is IDAHOBIT 💛 International Day Against LGBTQIA+ Discrimination. On May 17, 1990, the World Health Organisation removed homosexuality from the Classification of Diseases, a milestone worth celebrating, and a reminder that there’s still more work to do. To mark the day, WIFT VIC Communications Director Yvette Turnbull has curated Queer Stories Worth Your Screen Time, a mini watchlist of films and series by women and gender diverse creatives, spanning Australian gems and international favourites alike. Expect heart, chaos, tenderness, and some truly brilliant queer cinema. Read the full reviews in the WIFT VIC Journal 👉 .au/journal or via the link in bio.
