Last Tuesday I received the extraordinary gift of speaking at @ted . ‘Auntieverse’ was presented at ‘session 2: Mind Expanders’ to the 1700++ live attendees and watch parties worldwide. You can watch it at /niceaunties The entire experience was nothing short of life changing. From the 2+months of working with my amazing curator Simone, the Ted team and Speaker Coach Briar Goldberg, to visiting Vancouver for the first time and overcoming my fear of being doxxed + wondering how people would react to this AI work. (Like I said to Simone it’s either a Ted talk or a bunjee jump) I am fortunate to have @monica_lewinsky as my TED ambassador guiding me and giving me great tips for the talk. She and Simone gave me great emotional support, i am so grateful. What beautiful souls. @scr10 During the week I listened to astrophysicists, scientists, farmers, artists, thought leaders— beautiful brilliant minds sharing their genius. I’m moved, inspired, hugely honoured and 3000% mind-expanded. THANK YOU 🫶

‘Auntie’ blooming with life at the ‘Beauty of Longevity’ event at @lorealgroupe HQ in Paris. Such a huge honour to present auntie art at this amazing location. So much gratitude to the wonderful women at L’Oreal who enabled this. 🥹 I spoke on a panel about longevity, exhibited stills and videos, and created a sculpture in collaboration with @valteradamcasotto @martina_sandona.art @skintxt and @fisheye_immersive . It’s the 2nd time a character from the Auntieverse, developed in AI, has turned physical. And certainly the first time done in beautiful silicone. Now open: auntiescapes by @niceaunties Thank you to everyone who joined us throughout the opening weekend and brought such warmth, curiosity, and energy into the space. It was a pleasure to see visitors engaging so openly with the works and conversations unfolding around the show. At the center of the exhibition, “Mirror Into Auntieverse” became a gathering point throughout the opening weekend. The interactive installation documents the auntie love language of our times. Through humour, reflection, and participation, the work transforms the space into a collective experience filled with laughter, movement, and unexpected conversations. The exhibition runs until 15 August at @load.gallery . Come experience the world of auntiescapes from Thursday to Saturday, 4–8 pm.

AUNTIESCAPES 7 May - 15 Aug 2026 Last weekend was truly special! Auntiescapes opened at Load Gallery in Barcelona. I presented at the opening party and again on 9 May for Poblenou Open Night. I spoke about aunties, AI, the Auntieverse, energy, our bodies, landscapes, and the planet. 13 artworks across one interactive sculpture and 12 digital narratives. The crowd favourite, Mirror Into Auntieverse, sits in the headspace room. An interactive mirror that replaces your face with an auntie’s, who then spurts blunt remarks like “how much do you earn?” and “OMG you look tired, are you OK??” Lots of dancing and laughter in that room. First produced with Load Gallery for Paris Photo in November 2025, now upgraded with screen capture. Some lucky visitors left with signed polaroids of themselves with auntie faces. The energy was incredible. The scale and quality of Load’s screens made it feel like the new digital wing of a museum, with seated visitors just staring at the art and being. Special canapes by Antoine the chef @twanzen to match the exhibition theme. Edible flowers, fusion, chilli, auntie flavours. Magic! On until 15 August. Back in Barcelona for @sonarfestival 18 to 19 June 2026. “frogauntie” 2026, Auntiescapes Happy May Day full moon 🌝🌝🌝🐸🐸🐸 The frog auntie is activated by moonbeam to integrate with the earth, burrowing within for lucid hibernation for a few moon cycles until it is time to emerge again. Occasionally she transforms into a layer cake. She understands we are all made of the same layer cake of differing flavours and form. An inward reflection alters her ingredients for change. Friends visiting S.Korea… I’m showing two Jelly City films at Busan Museum of Art as part of Digital Subculture: Narrative & Story in the Digital Era, 23 April to 28 June 2026. The works are displayed on outdoor LED screens in the museum’s Sculpture Garden, at Busan Station, and on the Yukaro Motors billboard at Haeundae Beach. Jellybay And Why You Don’t See Giant Aunties On Land came from my trip to Ha Long Bay, Vietnam, where the limestone formations rising from the sea became giant aunties balanced in yoga poses. 19:19 opens with “Jia ba buey?” (have you eaten?) a Hokkien greeting from my maternal family home, reimagining childhood memories of evening kitchens through the flooded streets of Jelly City. Jelly City is one of many worlds within the Auntieverse, my expanding fictional universe that reimagines the cultural archetype of the auntie through speculative storytelling across art, film, and technology. @busanmuseumofart #auntieverse #busan #digitalart

“Cycles” Auntiescapes 2026 @load.gallery Barcelona 7 May -15 August 2026 A static scene of an auntie continuously cycling, moving endlessly through changing seasons of a slice of the Auntieverse. It is unclear where exactly she is, except the ground she is pedalling is filled with dermis, flowers and crystals. Occasionally, goats accompany her journey. A bonsai plant emerges, the moon sets and the sun rises. Through the frozen cold the auntie takes a rest but still pedals away, until the scene returns to its original timeline and the cycle begins again.

“Leveling” Auntiescapes 2026 Coming soon in a solo show in Barcelona The auntie scales and runs about in a landscape of crystals, flesh and goats, in an endless parkour and exploratory exercise, accompanied by the moon, to reveal she is on a planet in the multiverse, continuously morphing and leveling up. Even if the journey seems endless, the curiosity, the process, and stopping to pose for an imaginary selfie is what she enjoys the most. #auntieverse #growth #levelingup
