Now open: auntiescapes by @niceaunties Thank you to everyone who joined us throughout the opening weekend and brought such warmth, curiosity, and energy into the space. It was a pleasure to see visitors engaging so openly with the works and conversations unfolding around the show. At the center of the exhibition, “Mirror Into Auntieverse” became a gathering point throughout the opening weekend. The interactive installation documents the auntie love language of our times. Through humour, reflection, and participation, the work transforms the space into a collective experience filled with laughter, movement, and unexpected conversations. The exhibition runs until 15 August at @load.gallery . Come experience the world of auntiescapes from Thursday to Saturday, 4–8 pm.

With her appearance at Sónar+D just around the corner, this Thursday 7th May, Auntiescapes by niceaunties opens at @load.gallery In Auntiescapes, the body becomes geological, layered with time, shaped by cycles, and inseparable from its environment. niceaunties - Auntiescapes La artista singapurense Wenhui Lim, conocida como niceaunties, desarrolla en Auntiescapes una investigación visual que amplía su proyecto Auntieverse. En él reinterpreta la figura de las “aunties”, un término que, más allá de significar “tía”, se utiliza en muchas culturas asiáticas para referirse a mujeres adultas o mayores asociadas a ciertos roles sociales, comportamientos cotidianos y formas de cuidado. Lejos de estos estereotipos, Lim presenta a las “aunties” como figuras complejas, con voz propia y capacidad de definirse a sí mismas. A través del uso de inteligencia artificial, construye escenarios donde estas mujeres ocupan el centro de relatos especulativos y contemporáneos. En Auntiescapes, el cuerpo se convierte en paisaje vivo: la piel, la carne y las emociones aparecen como territorios en transformación. La serie propone así una reflexión sobre identidad, envejecimiento y representación, explorando nuevas formas de entender el cuerpo y su relación con el entorno. Load Gallery and The AI Art Magazine come together for Global Fusion Barcelona, a one‑day gathering to celebrate Issue No. 3: SPATIAL INTELLIGENCE—synthetic horizon. The new edition explores space as something to be felt, read, and re‑imagined–not a backdrop, but a living system that thinks and responds with us. At Load, these ideas move from paper onto a hybrid screen architecture and become something to watch, share, and talk about side by side. For example, one of the dreams was that I was in the middle of the forest, and the trees were falling and dissolving. Just a short walk from @dissenyhub , Load is currently hosting Paramnésico, a solo exhibition by @desilence_ , a rare opportunity to experience their work outside of immersive and performative contexts, in a more intimate gallery format. Rooted in abstract painting, their work unfolds as a kind of visual alchemy: shifting forms, dissolving landscapes, and images that seem a dream residue, never quite coming to a resolution. El llenguatge visual fluid és un element central de l’obra de Desilence: amb arrels en la pintura abstracta, els ha portat anys desenvolupar els mitjans tècnics i conceptuals necessaris per a “pintar” amb imatges en moviment. En Paramnésico,les obres evoquen l’alquímia: les formes es dissolen i es recombinen com si els pigments es difuminessin en l’aigua. Un paisatge amb un arbre solitari es transforma gradualment en una forma orgànica ambigua, després es dispersa en l’abstracció, només per a reconstituir-se — un joc subtil que el subconscient juga amb la memòria i la forma.
