Amazed and excited to report that Mark Kano - my longtime bandmate from Athenaeum - is going to make an appearance at my book launch this Thursday, May 14, in Chapel Hill at @flyleafbooks (signing at 5:30, event starts at 6) to perform a song from Violent Femmes with me and Shannon Ferguson @shannoneferguson , my bandmate from Longwave. Once-in-a-lifetime musical summit! Might be the third time this century I’ve performed live with Mark?? Man. Thanks, Mark. This is going to be good.
