My work reflects a commitment to nurturing imagination while honoring lived experiences, showing students that art is not just an assignment—it is life’s expression, storytelling, and healing power.
Black women in the arts are essential because they bring perspectives that have historically been overlooked, silenced, & undervalued. I heal through bringing my ideas to life and teaching the next generation to do the same
