It didn’t start here.
It started with a pen and a journal. I had no idea poetry would open doors unimaginable to my mind. Releasing the ache through words on a page turned to hearing my voice thru the waves from speakers. I never knew the power of my voice until I started to use it freely.
It didn’t start here.
It started with lonesome emptiness. Grave desire and moral decay. The need to be felt in a spiritual sense. Creativity gave me language to express my emotions. Understanding my emotions gave me energy to invite others to do the same.
It started with the knowing that I was in need of something more… in order to let go.
It started with the echo in my soul.
