NF1B in focus 🍐
Our newest addition brings the NF1 family to new lengths.
The exteeended cousin to our beloved stool is variable in length, thanks to its solid wooden nature. It comes in a standard length of 1m, but can be easily extended up to several meters without the need for extra legs. Just let us know your preferred length, and we’ll take care of the rest. Your custom NF1B is waiting.
Huge thanks to @phillip_koll for the stunning art direction and photography!

NF1B is here 📚
The NF1 family is growing.
Say hello to NF1B, the exteeended cousin to our beloved stool.
After a long hiatus, we’re excited to announce the first addition to the NF1 series. Our new bench comes in a standard length of 1 m, but thanks to the solid wooden seat, it can be extended up to several meters without the need for extra legs. Just tell us your preferred length and we’ll take care of the rest!

NF taking shape 🥽
While visiting the production of the first addition to our NF1 family, we wanted to show you what goes into making an NF product come to life.
Besides the mesmerizing processes of wood-turning and cnc milling, we wanted to focus on the joinery, which you can barely make out in the final piece. Each leg is connected to the seat using a mortise and tenon joint, turned and milled to sub-millimeter precision with only minimal tolerances. This ensures a glue bond that, like the wood blanks themselves, will last for decades to come.
Many thanks to Elke and Heike for taking this next step with us and allowing us to document it!
Stay tuned for more!
NF1 on display at Bil—Boe 🪨
We’re beyond grateful to have been part of the @bilboe.official popup in Amsterdam during @amsterdam.art week. The popup featured stunning pieces from independent designers, blending aesthetics with utility. Gallery-worthy pieces made to live with you, as founder and curator Ollee Means puts it.
Bil—Boe is a design house dedicated to creating and curating aesthetic objects of utility. They make furniture and objects that meet the pace of modern life — built to last, built to matter. Collaborating with independent designers, they produce in small batches, and craft their own pieces in-house. Every object is made with intention: no excess, no shortcuts, no fluff. Just strong materials, bold form, and everyday function.
A huge thank you to founder and curator @ollee_means for inviting us and bringing this incredible exhibition to life!
The popup ran from May 22nd to 29th. You can explore all the exhibits on Bil—Boe’s Instagram or online shop. Don’t miss it!
