It’s pisces season so I took advantage of a rare window in my schedule to make something for my upcoming birthday. I cut up these great denim tote bags that someone gave me, they had an unusable print on one side but the rest of the fabric is so great. I ended up with this little 70s western rocker suit. Anyone else want one?

Win this beautiful large quilt made in collaboration with over 50 sewists. It measures 69”x92”, is lined with 100% cotton batting and is machine washable. All funds raised will be sent to the Long Haul Mutual Aid Kitchen. The Long Haul Mutual Aid Kitchen is a grassroots, volunteer-led weekly mutual aid group running on the motto of “solidarity not charity”. The organization takes hot meals directly to people living in tents and RVs in the Georgetown and SODO neighborhoods of Seattle, distributing an average of 120 meals per week. Along with food, the group also distributes harm reduction and hygiene supplies, and operates a propane exchange to distribute fuel used for cooking and warmth. Leather jacket process. The final piece fit my client like a glove! It was so rewarding to see her try it on for the first time. I am honored to create a custom jacket that I know will last a lifetime.
