Before and after of the perennial borders in Beckett’s garden. The project was started 2 years ago but we’re always chipping away at it. The bones of the bed were incredible but it had gotten away with itself. It feels very alive now. I adore this space and these brilliant clients 🌿🌷🌿
@thadchal has been digging this space with me for the full 2 years and @emilyyfogarty gave huge help last week 🌻
New course! I’ll be teaching a one off Sustainability and Biodiversity in your Garden course at @windyridge_garden_centre this June. All proceeds will be donated to UNICEFs Gaza emergency appeal. Ponds! Compost! Bees! It will be super. It’s €50 and will be about 2-2 and a half hours 🌿🐝🌿🐝 Link to book in my bio 🌻

I’m housed!! But more importantly I’m gardened! Absolutely, absolutely unbelievably the bank thinks nettle design is legit and loaned me a pile of money. I’ve never ever had my own garden. Just a few wee yards and balcony’s. It feels like a dream. Now to eradicate Japanese knotweed and dig a pond! 🌱🍸🌱🍸🌱
Thanks to my beautiful pals for moving me and my big German bookcase today ✨
Spring sprang in Annagry for the lovely Maria and Luke. Mum’s alder, Wicklow foliage, primroses and other fine things from @windyridge_garden_centre and lots of seasonal European sourced flowers. Good to be back making things. A gorgeous job at home in Donegal to start the flowering year with 🌱
Thank you thank you lovely clients for letting me make cool stuff this year! Everything was made without the use of floral foam and no florals were sourced outside of Europe. A lot of material was local and I used a lot of plants that can be potted up after the wedding. I can’t quit my cable tie habit though - if anyone has any good alternatives let me know. Thank you freelancers, planners, other florists who booked me to freelance, and venues for a lovely year ❤️
Now I’m away adventuring for a bit so will be slow on emails. Back to work in early Feb x
About a year since the Gardaí lashed a whole wedding into the back of the paddywagon for me and saved the day. Beautiful photos of Lara and Seamus by @ebonyandpearlphoto The incredible acer foliage was donated from the garden of Samuel Becketts home, which makes the whole thing pretty romantic if you ask me 🍁🍂🍁
