Heres what the Panda looked like before hair, I definitely had to keep it slender to account for all the fur Ellie was going to lay on. The client wanted a kind of 'dopey' expression whilst keeping the eyes nice and open.

For once we were not only BTS! I think maybe this was too much fun.... For starters i got my hair crimped, then me and my fx pals got to do eachothers zombie makeup and go tear a body apart on stage. It was awesome. This wicked body was built by @vinnie_ichiban & Chris Clark! For Festival of the Living Dead! My makeup was done by the lovely @izfx.mua
Our makeup fx crew that worked on Shogun won an emmy for 'Outstanding Prosthetic Makeup!' Congratulations Toby, Bree & Suzie for the award! So happy to have been a part of the incredible team at @schminkenfx that helped bring this to light! There was a huge team of artist behind the scenes from @schminkenfx that built these awesome makeups & gags.

Some insight on how we created the final shot of the creature with each of the band members suspended - impaled, or strangled. A really cool combination of pracical, stunts and volume capture.
Each tenticle, the creature and band member were captured separately then pieced together by this incredible technology @dlxr.ca@brennallew stood on one stilt and was suspended whilst seeing through one eye! The suit was built to have all 5 of the 10- 12ft tenticles attached at once.
