My mum is amazing, and im so so lucky. She totally rescued me, flew up to Scotland, and helped me paint my flat. She completely rescued me....again. I felt so overwhelmed with the task, and at the age of 45, my mum is still here for me, solid and a total inspiration. I feel incredibly lucky to have her.
Last night was so amazing! What a beautiful time to be alive. Thanks @northfireben and the whole Parkinson family for having everyone. @channelonesoundsystem were epic and I had a great time selling my artwork. Thanks to all my lovely customers and friends. Ohhhhhhhhmygod!!! I haven't seen @mrsthedough in about 20 years! I happened to be in The Tron, today, and so did Gemma. She screamed when I said hello! It was so funny. Everyone turned. 😂😂 Today was beautiful, unique, and special because we met again. We have so many shared memories. It blows my mind how far we have both come since college. Fucking amazing, it was like no time had passed and we just slipped into chewing the fat.

I couldn't be prouder of @lewischilvers today as he completed the Saint Cuthbert's Way. It's a 63 mile walk, from Melrose to Lindisfarne, which he has completed in record time. Lewis wanted to do this walk to carve some space for himself, to process the loss of his beautiful father, Steve, and to simply be challenged. He has done this, and I am SO SO proud of him. I am also extatic to have him home. He has very sore feet, a stronger mind, and it's now BATH TIME!!! What a total G.

Celebrating International Woman's Day and sharing space with such special people has lifted my soul.
It feels very important to acknowledge, that in many parts of the world, women still don't have the same level of legal, economic and social rights as men. It is something we need to remember and think about. Celebrating omega vibes with all these people has left me feeling very supported and grateful.
This weekend was full on for me. My mental health took a battering last year. Navigating internal struggles of feeling confident and good enough, especially when performing, has been tough. But I did it!! I went right out my comfort zone and met with some truely beautiful people. Thank you for asking how I am, chatting to me, hugging me and generally being amazing. I've loved it and feel very inspired by this group of humans.

I got 2 exciting gigs this weekend! Saturday is Pubdub in Leeds with @grassroots_events and @reactionsoundsystem . Sunday is @impressasound at Niamos in Machester.
