Today's post is about the friends you make along the way! They know your strengths, weaknesses and all the dumb mistakes you've made (the ones that don't make it on social media); they saw you at your highest and lowest; they push you to be better and to keep grinding.
They don't get rewarded for your achievement, but they should be proud of it because it wouldn't have happened without them.
If you’ve got people like that in your life, tell them you appreciate them. Because success feels a lot different when you know you didn’t get there alone.🍻
@kevinniedzwiedz
After being everywhere other than home for the last 4 weeks, it was already time for me to head to Cameo for the Koenig-Ruger PRC match.
What I did not expect was to be sitting in 1st place at the end of day 1! I then had a few hiccups during day 2, with fatigue setting in and some less than ideal winds. Still super proud of taking home 4th place, Top MIL/LEO, and Top Marksman.
Thank you @keith.baker.jr and @dougkoenig1 for the super fun match 🙏

Congratulations to Nelson Drolet on winning the MIL/LEO category and thanks to his company NDr Shooting Supplies for donating magazines to the prize table!

Zero / DOPE check day required items (described in a unconventional way): a long range boomstick, some ammo for said boomstick, contained sand, orange tools (gotta be orange and the 10mm socket is probably missing tbh), a tiny screen that likes to follow me everywhere I go, and some Doppler / laser shenanigans. There you go, you're all set.

Don't forget ear muffs!! Because suppressors are only for the bad guys where I'm from; therefore, the only option is to be as loud as I can.
After a chaotic start to last weekend (24h travel day, 1 missing rifle at destination, closed roads due to avalanches and accidents, and an unexpected visit to @desertlongrange to assemble a backup rifle so @kevinniedzwiedz can shoot the match), I had an awesome time at @theleadfarm_wa PRS pro match. A great field style match on day 1 followed by more traditional PRS stages for day 2 made for an awesome match. I ended up winning the trophy for 1st MIL/LEO and finished 29th overall which I'm super happy about. I was also able to apply a lot of lessons learned from my last match at @txprecisionmatches and it clearly paid off.

Thank you to all of the incredible businesses who support me while I try to push myself and the rifle to its limit. @emprecisionrifles@cadexdefence@internationalbarrels@ndr.shooting.supplies
Ready for @theleadfarm_wa barrel burner Pro @precisionrifleseries match next weekend! I just have a little bit more dry fire on the schedule this week. It will be good to get out of the snow 🥶
Match recap from last weekend at the @txprecisionmatches . Day 1 was rough; mostly due to the fact that my last match was about 6 months ago. Dry fire during the winter helped a lot for positional work, but I was clearly lacking in the wind call department. I dropped 40 points during day 1 putting me 131/195 shooters. It was clear that I needed to change my gameplan / stage preparation for day 2. With a new gameplan and a new approach for day 2, I only dropped 14 points throughout the day which allowed me to gain 57 positions to finish 74th out of the 195 shooters. Thanks to the squad! I had a blast with y'all and learned a lot 🤠

Quote of the weekend (@dantheboilermaker ): dude the poney over there is going crazy 🐄🐮

A few photos from the Sheepdog Pro Match from 2 weekends ago. Turns out showing up to a match with untested reloads, 3 weeks without shooting, and still jet lagged from a busy week at work isn't the solution 😅 oh well 🤦♂️ I sent some lead downrange and learned a few things nonetheless.
