After being everywhere other than home for the last 4 weeks, it was already time for me to head to Cameo for the Koenig-Ruger PRC match.
What I did not expect was to be sitting in 1st place at the end of day 1! I then had a few hiccups during day 2, with fatigue setting in and some less than ideal winds. Still super proud of taking home 4th place, Top MIL/LEO, and Top Marksman.

After a chaotic start to last weekend (24h travel day, 1 missing rifle at destination, closed roads due to avalanches and accidents, and an unexpected visit to @desertlongrange to assemble a backup rifle so @kevinniedzwiedz can shoot the match), I had an awesome time at @theleadfarm_wa PRS pro match. A great field style match on day 1 followed by more traditional PRS stages for day 2 made for an awesome match. I ended up winning the trophy for 1st MIL/LEO and finished 29th overall which I'm super happy about. I was also able to apply a lot of lessons learned from my last match at @txprecisionmatches and it clearly paid off.

The CCFR Women’s Programs, which this calendar supports, is committed to promoting firearms safety and education among women. It’s an amazing program. The days spent at the range with the ladies has truly impacted me. Watching the smiles and confidence on the faces of these ladies weather shooting their first rounds ever, or their 1000th, is such a good feeling

Well, it snowed. And if you know me, you know I’m not a fan of winter. From the second the first snowflake hits, I’m ready for summer again. So throw back to when the weather was warmer, there was no snow to shovel, and I could go out with wet hair and not care. Next shooting season is only 6 months away… and counting.
This past shooting season was definitely a great one. I had a noticeable improvement in my performance over my previous season and even had a personal best performance in my first NRL Hunter match of the season this year. I couldn't have done it without the support of my sponsors.
@emprecisionrifles chambered barrels that were hammering this year and consistency producing tiny groups and low SD's
@patriotvalley provided me with the Osprey steel and carbon barrel blanks that have been the most consistent barrels I have personally used to date
@reloadingallday gave me the knowledge to dial in my load development and reloading processes that helped me produce those consistent results and low SD's with my relods.
Time to get ready for hunting, and I look forward to keeping the momentum going next season
I shot the @saprl_rifle_league PRS regional finally on the weekend. As usual, @tyler.c.j and @badlands_precision put on a well organized match with a great course of fire. It was a great way to end my season. My rifle ran great all season with the @patriotvalley Osprey barrel that was chambered by @emprecisionrifles in 6 dasher. I am looking forward to next season.

Nothing better than being able to shoot a match with family. Team EM has always been focused on growing the sport and including our families in our passion. Huge thanks to Tyler Jalbert and @saprl_rifle_league for another great weekend. Tyler had huge shoes to fill taking the league over from Shawn and Chad. Having shot all the Centerfire SAPRL matches this year, it was obvious Tyler has a passion and is gonna carry on the legacy. It was a great couple days shooting. And I can’t think of a better way to spend time with my wife @kerriprs and son Malcolm @brass_monkey_emp As always, huge shout out to my partner @enabelr2.0 for building rifles we can be confident in. Running gear we can count on really helps us be accountable for our own successes and failures. Kerri and I started shooting matching 25 Creedmoors. The boy definitely shot out the barrel of his 6 Arc this weekend. Time to bring him into the 1/4 bore world. We were fortunate enough to be squared with @one_sharps_guy and his daughter. Huge thanks for the amazing photos of the weekend!! Definitely making us look better!!

It was a great weekend out doing some plinking at the Dmay Funshoot. It’s nice to get some shooting in that isnt on the clock. It’s also one of the only places I’ve gotten to see a cannon shoot out!
