Nothing better than being able to shoot a match with family. Team EM has always been focused on growing the sport and including our families in our passion. Huge thanks to Tyler Jalbert and @saprl_rifle_league for another great weekend. Tyler had huge shoes to fill taking the league over from Shawn and Chad. Having shot all the Centerfire SAPRL matches this year, it was obvious Tyler has a passion and is gonna carry on the legacy. It was a great couple days shooting. And I can’t think of a better way to spend time with my wife @kerriprs and son Malcolm @brass_monkey_emp As always, huge shout out to my partner @enabelr2.0 for building rifles we can be confident in. Running gear we can count on really helps us be accountable for our own successes and failures. Kerri and I started shooting matching 25 Creedmoors. The boy definitely shot out the barrel of his 6 Arc this weekend. Time to bring him into the 1/4 bore world. We were fortunate enough to be squared with @one_sharps_guy and his daughter. Had a really amazing opportunity to attend the first civilian course offering from @accuracy1stcanada with Frank Taylor. The Level 1 Precision Rifle course was a really complete and easy to digest class with some well thought out range time. I’ve been shooting quite a long time and consider myself reasonably experienced. I can’t say how impressed I am everytime I get an opportunity to shoot with our military professionals and all the knowledge and experience the bring to the community. Every time I walk away with more information that grows me as a shooter. Frank was gracious enough to let me 13yr old son Malcolm @brass_monkey_emp to attend. He left with a much better understanding of the Kestrel, external ballistics, wind effect and wind reading. He was reall excited to be able to put his little 6ARC running @cuttingedgebullets 90gr MTAC on steel at 1000m. I had a lot of fun on the “golf course” and mock NRL stages. I even managed a 2nd round impact on an IPSC at 1513m. It was great getting out and shooting with my partner @enabelr2.0 Steve and team mate @jwolfe29 We had a few other industry attendees and it was a really cool weekend. Big thanks to Frank for the opportunity.
