Sometimes people switch up when they enter certain rooms. But I’m consistent, two things you’ll always get from me is full glam and a kiss pout.. EVERYTIME, even in the Prime Minister’s house 😙💋

Policy 🤝 People = Change. Today is World Cancer Day and we’re not just talking about change. We’re helping shape what comes next alongside our government. @wegettouchyfeely was invited to no.10, alongside cancer survivors, clinicians, charities and the prime minister @keirstarmer contributing to conversations around the National Cancer Plan and the future of cancer care in England. The National Cancer Plan sets out how lives will be saved and care transformed, from prevention and early diagnosis, through to treatment, and supporting people to live well with and beyond cancer. What matters is how it’s being built. From the patient up. Shaped by lived experience. With a clear focus on tackling inequalities, modernising care, and centring patients at every stage. That’s where we sit. We are the people affected by cancer. And we are also in the rooms where decisions are made. World Cancer Day isn’t just a moment for awareness for us. It’s about action. And presence. Real change happens when policy meets people. And we’re committed to working on both ends. #WorldCancerDay #PolicyAndPeople #LifeAfterCancer #CancerCare #HealthEquity

“Nothing censored, we got to actually see real life” Radio Silence follows two @wegettouchyfeely members through radiotherapy. Two Black women navigating one of the most physically and emotionally brutal experiences of their lives and doing it with a language barrier that our healthcare system didn’t accommodate. From day one, amplifying the voices of Black women navigating cancer has been at the heart of everything we do. This documentary took that further than we ever have before and the room felt it. Clinicians who watched it said it changed how they see their patients. That they finally understood what had been going unspoken in their consultations. That they want to carry these insights into their practice. That is what representation in health media can do. Not just inform. Transform. We are one week in and we are just getting started. To bring Radio Silence to your organisation, please get in touch, we would to see how we accommodate! 📧

@juviasplace never misses with complexion products and this hydrating foundation is impressive. Coverage is not cakey, it’s glowy and not greasy. 10s across the board from me 🫦😍 And the shade match is also perfection - I wear shade Guinea 9. YUM! 🔥 #Ad #JuviasPlacePartner #ComplexionPerfection #HydraTintStick #SkinLikeFinish

Life is too short to not do the things that God plants in your heart. This documentary came to mind when I saw how brutal my skin was after radiotherapy. I knew it was going to happen one day, I just didn’t know how. Time went by and @wegettouchyfeely became a community - I spent time with women being diagnosed after me and going through the exact same treatment. And when speaking to some of them, in a sick way, I started to feel.. lucky With immense guilt, I thought f*ck that - there’s no way I should be feeling lucky because I can comfortably communicate how I feel and my needs to my doctors. That’s when it clicked. It’s not often I feel proud, but on Friday that’s all I felt. I do nothing without intention, Touchy-Feely will always spotlight the voices of those left in the margins. Anyway, as always - God is good. @macmillancancer thank you for always being a partner. Over the years - our relationship has strengthened and this is one of many projects that I’m immensely proud of. Round 2 of screening on its way. 🚀🎬

Having my daughter sat next to me who also watched the ad felt like its own kind of full circle. 🧡 @macmillancancer invited @wegettouchyfeely to @amvbbdo to watch their new TV advert before it aired to the world and what we saw was everything that we’d been feeling. @paulcampbe1l being the face and voice of a mainstream cancer campaign was fantastic. People from ethnic minority communities were represented throughout in a way that felt real, not ticked. The storyline showed cancer for what it actually is, something that doesn’t just happen to one person. It happens to everyone around them. I’m just so glad to have been a tiny part of a huge moment. 💚🧡

🚨From April 6th new menopause legislation comes into effect for large UK employers. Here’s what it means. And why it matters more than people think.👇🏾 Employers must now produce and publish a menopause action plan. By 2027, it’s mandatory. Women in their 40s and 50s are leaving the workforce because the system wasn’t built to support them during this natural life process. 45% of women don’t even know what support their employer offers. A woman’s health and her career should never be in competition. Save this and follow @nelliegbadebo for more content about women’s health. 🔖 #MenopauseAwareness #MenopauseAtWork #lifeaftercancer #pcossupport

🚨Afro-Caribbean communities are disproportionately affected by conditions like diabetes and high blood pressure, both of which can quietly damage vision over time. The @bootsopticians Ultimate Eye Test, including Optomap scan doesn’t just check how well you can see, it captures a detailed widefield image of your retina, helping to detect early signs of: 📌 Diabetic retinopathy 📌 Hypertensive changes in the eye Sometimes by the time you feel something, it’s often progressed that’s why early detection isn’t optional. This is your sign to book a Boots Opticians Ultimate Eye Test! #BootsOptician #Ad
