Join us tomorrow at Icon LA for opening night for @ray.dobson and @baggen.photos debut show along with @race.service . Weāll be there hanging out, demoing tools and supporting some LA locals āš» Itās going to be a fun night so donāt miss out if youāre in the LA area!
Hereās the details: Things Iāve Seen that Others Missed is a photo exhibition by Brandon Faith and Ray Dobson that presents the special, in-between moments that we as photographers seek out. The show runs from May through June and opening night is May 9th from 5:30pm to 8:30pm. The Icon is LAās largest film lab and for the second time in their history, weāll be expanding the exhibition to their back lab area where guests will be able to see the magic of how film gets processed, get hands on with contact sheets, and be immersed in the magic of film photography. Race Service will be supporting a selection of art cars, including one stationed inside the film lab itself.

Film never disappeared. But it has definitely changed.
Negative Film Conversion emerged from that shift. Itās been one of the most-requested features for years, and the goal has been to respect the character of film when converting. Built to fit how people actually shoot and archive today. Find out what went into the making of this feature and all things film photography.

Montrose, Angus, Scotland
The town of Montrose doesnāt always make it into the guidebooks, same as with many places Iāve visited in Scotland.
Ferryden is a small fishing village just across the river from Montrose. From there, itās only a mile along the coast to Scurdie Ness Lighthouse. Makes for a nice, easy coastal walk, and along the way you can spot a combination of WWII fortifications and real nice cafes. Not sure which one I enjoyed more.

The analog community showed up in a big way for the first-ever AnalogCon with @la_centerofphoto . We had a great time connecting with the community, catching up with friends old & new, and showcasing whatās possible with Negative Supply hardware + @captureone software. Thanks to everyone who stopped by! We are already excited for next year. š· @hansacho

Show time! Me and @ray.dobson will be collaborating on a joint gallery show on May 9th at @iconla . Titled āThings Iāve Seen That Others Missedā this show focuses on the moments that really make us photographers. Photography is the first step, but the art of seeing is its own unique ability.
Weāre also collaborating with three of our favorite brands @iconla@race.service and @negative.supply . The icon is hosting us in their gallery space, but weāll also have prints in their scanning and developing spaces offering yall a rare insight into their process. Race Service will be providing a secret car in the middle of our gallery space as well as a small car show outside. Negative supply (which me and Ray both use for all our scanning) will be on site showcasing products. A few other unique features : A vintage @kodak slide projector will be displaying our slides. Also, a large cutting table will have many smaller unhung prints meant to be held by everyone.
All shot on film ;) Every print available for sale. Mark your calendars!
