I've been sitting on this for a while now, and I'm thrilled to finally share it. Presenting a segment from an illustration / animation commission for "Days, Hours, Minutes," the latest single by @confuciusmc and @pitch_92 , featuring @jehstofficial . The moment Pitch sent me the track, I couldn't wait to dive into the creative process. I started out by spending quite a long time drafting the clock characters and defining the color palette and style, a decision that felt right for the project. I received a lot of support from Confucius and Pitch, allowing me the creative freedom to interpret the brief in a way that resonated with me. They suggested incorporating the Traffic Light Tree sculpture in Canary Wharf, a feature I instantly fell in love with. Perfecting the boat, head nods, and overall movement took some time and meticulous tweaking, but I'm pleased with the outcome. Once again, it's an honor to be commissioned for an animation accompanying such an outstanding release. Big up to @hhvrecords for putting it out. This is a project I've been eager to share for some time now. At the end of the last year I had the honor of working on an animation for @kidacne 's latest LP: HAUNTOLOGY CODES. Using KID ACNE's incredible illustrations from the album cover I made a 30 second clip to promote the release. I've been a big fan of his work since I was in university so it was very exciting to be involved. I think the final outcome came out dope and I hope the album is getting all the love it deserves. It dropped on the mighty @lexrecords in December and is highly recommended! Thanks again to @kidacne for having me involved and for @ellisdawg for recommending my services.

I'm proud to latest cover I made for the don that is @pitch_92 . This is the main cover for the DEEP CUTS EP he put out with the mighty @hipdozer at the end of last year. This is one I'd like to animate at some point, I can see all the pieces floating off and coming back together. Would love to hear some ideas if anyone some. I'm proud to present some artwork I made for @jamesberkeleymusic that dropped recently on @yadayadauk . It came out of the blue like some of the best projects do. The music is incredible, James Berkeley is very talented and a gentleman to work with. Please make sure to check out his stuff. The artwork is 2 single and 1 EP cover in one. If you swipe across you can see the animation I made too. It was a challenge to animate the dude picking up the telephone, I think I drew 30 odd frames to get it smooth. A massive thanks to @jamescattermole and the legend @jamesxneilson for getting me involved.

It's a pleasure to share this illustration made for the "An Afternoon of Dilla" events taking place this month in the UK, celebrating the life of the legend that is Jay Dee. I was commissioned to create a poster and a T-Shirt for the events. The illustration is an obvious ode to the Donuts record. Dilla was a massive influence to myself and the crew I got old with so it means so much to work on this. If you got down to one of the events than you're really lucky. There will be one final event in Manchester on the 28th so make sure to drop by if you're in the area. A massive shout out to @vicebeats for pulling everything together. The hardest working man in the game! Long may it continue!

The first of 3 pieces I drew for @pitch_92 's latest EP "Deep Cuts" released on @hipdozer out of France. Another incredible project from Pitch and a pleasure to be involved as usual. Illustration wise it was a chance to experiment a bit. Not sure how it ended up vintage anime style but it seems to work. Big up @pitch_92 and @hipdozer for getting me involved.

A nice time for a Typhoon. Osaka is on lockdown which gives me time to share some commissions from July. This is a 1:1 crop of the DICE Animation for @pitch_92 on @highfocusrecords . The full animation can be seen on Youtube. It was another good learning experience. I'm slowly getting used to the process of making my drawings move but there's lots more to learn. On to the next! Big up to everyone involved in this.

Just when things couldn't get any busier the don that is @pitch_92 came through with a biggie. Orla is the first single in this High Focus producer spotlight series. Absolute fire all round, it's a pleasure to work with @pitch_92 again. He's had so much faith in my artwork since day one. Also a pleasure to work with @highfocusrecords again. A very organised team, so supportive and easy to communicate with. This is the cover. It's the Pitch 92 character from the INTERVALS album chilling on a cloud, bobbing over a city. I was making this while my son was in hospital and the scenery is mostly from that neighborhood in Osaka. The sky is a watercolour wash, seemed to all fit together nicely.

It's an honor to share some album artwork I made recently for @vicebeats and @hhvrecords . Vice has orchestrated an incredible project with so many dope artists involved. It's clear to see how much hard work went into to every intricate detail of this project and I have no doubt it'll do very well. From start to finish @vicebeats was a gentleman to work with, dude is so positive and got behind anything I created. It took a long time but we came up with this cover. It celebrates the joy of the process and the effort that goes into projects such as this one. Vice is about to take off and this is his rocket ship. Naughty Apple 🍎 2022 _ It's been a long time since I've painted on a canvas but I really enjoyed this one. _ This is a piece for the JAPAN WALLS "Square Spaces" group exhibition in Shirahama. A very dope idea set up by @japanwalls and @34p.jp _ For this one I screen printed 4 layers, adding texture and different parts with a brush each time. I really like the distressed texture and imperfect registration. The drawing was made for my boy Masa who is mad about anything with wheels. _ The exhibition is happening at @keyterrace_hotelseamore starting on October 24th and finishing on the 29th. Here is some artwork that I recently made for @collegemusic and @deadxbeat . I used a few different textures for this one but mainly worked with scans of brush stroke heavy acrylic paint studies. Taking time to study rock formations and experimenting with different line work to express them was dope. I want start making sketchbooks of these studies to use in future projects.
