Porsche Goodwood Festival Of Speed I fell in love with English countryside thanks to this gig. Together with @paweljermak @bartek_hlawka we were working on a difficult project aiming to present icons and legends of Porsche cars. Since the beginning we’ve been working on the edit using various car commercials as placeholders. Time was our enemy and we had to have the montage structure created before the last shooting day - which was two days before the campaign launch. The final editing session was done in a Goodwood Hotel room at 5 am, 3 hours before the final grading session. Starlink saved our ass. Big shoutout to the @untold_studios team who took care of us and our needs during this time in UK. Thank you everyone. Forever grateful for every experience.

I’m very glad to share my part in the recent RELIC project, which I’ve been editing on and off for the last two years — constantly coming back to review my timelines. Together with @paweljermak , we edited (I think) over 40 versions in different formats, experimenting with the footage our amazing crew delivered from the rocky shores of Croatia. RELIC is not a story. For me, it’s a tribute to creativity and the unleashed process — a love letter to people working on things they love and are passionate about. It reminded me why editing can be fun, expressive, bitchy, hard, and mind-dwelling. It reminded me of the freedom of creation (’cause I had no script or reference — Paweł just told me to edit the shit out of it). It’s been a fantastic journey to see it all come together and to watch amazing people connect and contribute to this project. It’s a privilege to have friends like this and to be part of such a process. For that, I’m forever grateful. A while ago, after an intense period I felt I kinda lack the spark that pushed me all the way from my hometown to Warsaw. Felt like I fell out of proportions, doing a lot of work that gave me cash, but not that much when it comes to fulfilling your own creative desires. This project and the very passion of @paweljermak to create this short film was like a long-awaited ignition. We’ve spent some time on editing, making 2137 touches to appeal your eyes. Pawel is one of a kind, giving you a free hand to do your best, yet delicately guiding you to achieve a coherent vision. I am more than thankful for letting me edit the shit out of it, and even more proud of my girl for the great job she did in reflecting the visual intensity of film onto a still poster that came out in three different versions.
