Here are some shots from Healing Domes. We chose this style for the art direction to show the change at the heart of the film, the story of a girl’s healing journey from black and white to color. From being without identity to becoming a real person. The strong b&w style shows both her weakness and the strength that comes from turning weapons into a place for healing.

In partnership with La Familia, Aceros AZA, and the Government of Chile, we brought the vision of “Healing Domes” to life, turning steel from more than 80,000 confiscated weapons into a sanctuary where children touched by violence can find support and hope. The film uses raw textures, distortion, mixed media, and heartfelt storytelling to convey the project’s main challenge: turning fear into compassion and destruction into safety. This project shows how much can be achieved when creative people work together with trust, skill, and the courage to try new things. #healingdomes

Having more tools gives us more options, but the real challenge is making choices. Deciding what to include and what to leave out, and how small decisions add up, shapes the outcome. This is where craft comes in. It’s not one big idea but many small details that make something feel just right. Here’s a quick look at how we handled this in our @huawei project. What looks effortless is usually built on a foundation of intentional choices. In our process, we revisited each step, fine-tuned how the SK-II product’s surface played with light and space, and stripped away anything that disrupted our vision of harmony. For @skii , the work was built around design #R&D: testing, exploring, pushing in different directions, and gradually refining them. Most of the decisions came out of that process. Not added at the end, but discovered along the way.

Not everything needs to be amplified to be seen. For SK-II LXP, restraint was the starting point. Kintsugi wasn’t treated as an effect, but as a structure. With a reflective surface, small changes in light or composition are enough. It’s not about adding. It’s about control. How much can you remove and still keep a presence?
