A cross-continental celebration deserves a high-octane start. For Ashima’s opening ceremony in New Delhi, the first chapter of a wedding that traveled from New Delhi to New York, we knew we had to set the bar high.
The vision was clear: Liquid Gold. We chose this stunning ITRH gold lehenga, paired with a precision cut mirrored corset that caught every light in the room. While the main wedding events in the USA will be a riot of color, we wanted her New Delhi debut to be monochromatic, metallic and completely unforgettable.
But the real brief from Ashima? “I need to dance all night.”
And dance she did. From the first toast at dusk to the final beat at dawn, she moved effortlessly. No heavy lifting, just pure shimmering energy.

“Building a brand” sounds romantic; until you’re the one on the ladder.
Like @batraashima said this morning, this isn’t about testing an idea. It’s about investing in yourself until you become the identity the brand needs.
So the past few months looked less like “founder life” and more like…
architect, interior designer, stylist, contractor, sometimes all before lunch, often after 9pm when everyone is gone.
I thought it would be all moodboards and magic.It’s actually been dust, decisions and a lot of climbing back up to get it right.
New Delhi to New York isn’t just a concept. It’s been constructed..detail by detail, instinct by instinct.
And somewhere in the middle of all of this, you realize you’re not just building a brand. You’re building the person capable of building it.
