Got the boy, the lehenga, and the twirl. This post is for the people who made that night one of the most special nights of my life. My lehenga by @itrhofficial , made this piece in just 20 days because we had fast tracked everything. The compliments that night were endless. But beyond how beautiful it looks, it’s the way it makes you feel when you wear it, the construction, it’s so special. Ridhi is doing some truly incredible work. @omorfoevents @sidharth_mahajan — Sid made this one of the most flawless events I’ve ever experienced. An event with a thousand people and not a single glitch is almost unheard of, but he somehow made it happen. Everything was just… perfect. @ndny.us who conceptualized both our looks and so much of the visual mood of the evening. The difference between a good look and a fabulous one is always a stylist who knows exactly how to pull every detail together. @sdsstudio , my incredible photographers. This was the first event of the wedding and the first day we were working together, but it never felt like that. They were so warm and easy that it instantly felt like they were part of the celebration, and these photos are proof of that. And yes, the wedding content continues :)

Business don’t fail dramatically, they fail slowly. We work extremely hard but sometimes the problem is that we move fast without thinking. We react. We firefight. A patch here. A workaround there. And slowly, the business turns into a collection of temporary fixes instead of real solutions. Activity starts to feel like progress and that’s where we are fooling ourselves. When i say I miss being a bride, this is what I miss.. The day after the wedding, I wore my mom’s wedding saree. Thirty years old. I recreated one of her photos, and when she saw me in that outfit, she cried. That’s it. That’s the memory. That’s the one that stays. Mehendi, I literally opened Pinterest, saw the first design, and went with it. The only thing I did know is my doggos’ silhouettes had to be on the back of my hands. What I didn’t plan for was absolutely wrecking the mehendi by sleeping with my hands clenched… and then watching it somehow sort itself out just in time. No idea how. Not asking questions. There is something very unsettling (in the best way) about finding people you can say anything around, be anything around, without ever feeling the need to edit yourself and that was the best part about marrying this man, was getting two sisters who not only love me as I am but somehow enhance my madness. They keep saying that when I entered the family, it felt like a missing puzzle piece had fit in. But the strange part is… I felt exactly the same. Like I am very accidentally, but very certainly, where I belong. Still not over that upgrade.
