Range of Mystery now available for free on YouTube. Link in bio.
In 2018, we set off around the world searching for a fabled mountain range. Twas a journey to the unknown, inspired by a single photograph and a seed sowed from those that came before us.

Christmas Eve lap w/ cascade cement aficionado @shawnapaoli . Nice pacific NW snow out here for the early season conditioning 💪🏼. Looks colder tmrw we are hoping it stays warm and keeps raining in the valley
We had the pleasure of getting out with @nathanielmurphy and @shawnapaoli when they came to mammoth recently.
We planned a casual day starting around 9am to go check out bloody area. The road had some snow but not until around 9k. We took Murph's truck (newer tundra) up the rugged road. Didn't feel like pushing it so we stopped before the meadow. Walked up the road which had snow most of the way luckily.
One mistake we made was miss judging the distance from the top of Y, to the top of Bloody. We choose to go up Y couloir for our approach and by the time we summited we were loosing light fast. With conditions being a bit sharky we decided to just ride Y and not try to make it too bloody.
The snow was great up high, halfway down it had slide so it was firm, but still good. The road getting out was pretty hectic with rocks and other obstacles but all in all we got away with very little damage to our boards!

A Chess Match On The Glaciers.
Big line hunting in New Zealand with Nathaniel Murphy.
In the summer of 2022, Jones ambassador guide @nathanielmurphy linked up with ski guide and photographer @bfredlund for an expedition to the Southern Alps of New Zealand.
With their eyes on a first descent of a major peak, Nat and Beau were dreaming big, but dangerous alpine conditions demanded they reconsider their plans. Soaking in the stunning scenery, shredding fun lines, and staying safe became the priorities.
Check out a new trip report and video from their expedition on the Jones Journal.
