I am 🌠DELIGHTED🌠 to share that I have been awarded a 2026 United States Artists Fellowship!!!!! Thank you to everyone who has believed in me, supported my work, kept me going. I’m immensely grateful for this light in dark times and will do my best to honor the privilege it is to be an artist and share my inner world. Huge congratulations to all the other fellows - I am so excited to connect and witness. 🕸️ 📷 Thank you @ry__noor for making me glow. From @unitedstatesartists : ⭐ Say hello to our 2026 USA Fellows ⭐ In 2026, USA continues our commitment to durable, sustainable support to artists and creative practitioners in All Stages, in All Ways, Always. This year, we are thrilled to award a new cohort of USA Fellows, fifty exceptional artists and collectives across all disciplines, at all career stages, spanning nineteen US states and Washington, DC. They have made names for themselves through work that is activated by audiences and interlocutors. Many of this year’s Fellows explore personal archives, trace artistic lineages, and move fluidly between inheritance and invention. In doing so, they complicate histories, surface overlooked narratives, and challenge the status quo of whose stories are preserved and whose are left out. Join us in celebrating and congratulating our 2026 cohort! To learn more about our 2026 cohort and the USA Fellowship head to the #linkinbio.

𝑹𝒊𝒑 𝑺𝒑𝒂𝒄𝒆 𝑷𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒕 𝑺𝒑𝒐𝒕𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 #𝟕 ~~ 𝑵𝑨𝑻 𝑫𝑬𝑪𝑲𝑬𝑹 @nat_decker__ From our SYSTEM SUPPORT series print sale with White Label Editions @white_label_editions , prints that sustain RIP SPACE’s next phase and make great gifts for art + design lovers. 𝘕𝘢𝘵 𝘋𝘦𝘤𝘬𝘦𝘳, 𝘙𝘰𝘰𝘵-𝘉𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 11 × 17 in · Edition of 15 + AP Root-Bound takes its name from the moment when a plant’s roots outgrow their container, pressing against the limits that once sustained them. Moving between sculpture, digital media, and accessibility grounded in disability justice, Nat Decker reflects on how bodies, ideas, and communities take the shape of the spaces they inhabit, adapting, expanding, and restructuring under pressure. Created as RIP SPACE evolves and searches for a new physical home, the work unfolds as an intuitive meditation on real-life support systems imagined as a shifting digital environment. Interlinked chains and tentacular forms rendered in silvery, opalescent tones merge mechanical and organic vocabularies. Suspended in motion, these hybrid forms evoke the ongoing tension between structure and growth, containment and expansion, a visual language negotiating how to hold, support, and transform. A resonant work from an artist redefining the aesthetics of access, embodiment, and digital materiality (link in bio)

ALSO BIG THANK YOU to everyone who came out to reflect on RRR2S during our Panel Discussion 𝓔𝓭𝓾𝓬𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷 𝓡𝓸𝓬𝓴𝓼. By reflecting on the workshops and their political context, we proposed crucial steps for new ways of relating to tech & education with much optimism 💅! Shout out to Nat Decker @nat_decker__ , Yuehao Jiang @yuehao_jiang , and John Threat @johnthreat who demo-ed a top secret project which we cannot disclose details about here, but stay tuned for the next iterations of both! 🍀 We Have a Full Package Deal 4U! 🍀 This bundled ticket gives you access to all four experimental workshops for just $90. REGISTER VIA LINK IN BIO! 🦋🦋🦋 Workshops Overview: Censored Online, Thriving Offline — led by Maisa Imamović @iammans Censorship and platform shutdowns are no longer hypothetical. Learn to build “offline-first” websites that live without corporate clouds. You’ll experiment with HTML/CSS/JS to create hidden archives, public teasers, and survivalist web worlds — skills for artists, organizers, and anyone seeking digital autonomy. Rules of Entry: A Roleplaying Workshop on Borders, Bureaucracy, and Resistance — led by Yuehao Jiang @yuehao_jiang What do borders feel like from both sides? Through speculative game design, you’ll role-play immigration lawyers, border officers, and travelers to unpack bureaucracy and power. Inspired by Papers, Please, the session ends with a custom card game you co-design and take home. Expect insights into authority, identity, and resistance — plus a hands-on look at how games model real systems. ALT COMMS: LoRa Radio and Mesh Networks — led by Nat Decker @nat_decker__ What are mesh networks? And what can we do with them? Mesh networks connect devices without cell towers or broadband — used during disasters, protests, and remote treks. You’ll handle low-power LoRa radios, flash them with open-source firmware, and see how communities build autonomous communication systems — skills for organizers, mutual-aid networks, and anyone wanting secure, independent comms. Disobedient Web Design: Building Early Internet Digital Shrines — led by Kameelah Janan Rasheed @kameelahr Why does every website look the same now? Most of the web has been flattened into frictionless “smooth jazz” design. Revive the unruly spirit of early fan pages by hand-coding or templating your own digital shrine, then linking it into a collaborative webring. You’ll leave knowing how HTML/CSS can build decentralized, idiosyncratic sites that resist corporate aesthetics and foster community. All workshops will be held in person at Rip Space: 1250 Long Beach Ave #326, Los Angeles. There are a few spots left! link to register is in biooo 🫰

—> Check Out This Cool Workshop 😱 ALT COMMS: LoRa Radio and Mesh Networks Led by Nat Decker Communication technologies are crucial for the organizing of care, resistance, and community connection. They are also hyper regulated, corporatized, centralized, surveilled, and extractive. This workshop explores alternative communication protocols and community generated mesh networks. With an introductory lecture and hands-on demonstration, participants will learn about LoRa (Long Range) Radio devices instancing Meshtastic - “An open source, off-grid, decentralized, mesh network built to run on affordable, low-power devices.” Utilizing an unregulated radio bandwidth, Meshtastic allows for encrypted peer-to-peer messaging independent of cellular or broadband networks. This technology has potential as a tool of counter-surveillance, emergency preparedness, connectivity in absence of networks or during disruptions to networks, and is a fun way to learn more about communications technology and autonomous infrastructure. Devices demonstrated will include LoRa radios such as Heltec LoRa32, Lilygo T-Deck and SenseCAP Card Tracker T1000-E. You don’t have to bring anything but are welcome to bring along relevant devices or purchase radios prior to the workshop (look for devices that operate on the 915 MHz frequency band for use in the USA). Nat Decker is a Los Angeles based artist using technology, sculpture, and performance to explore the politicality of alienation, liberatory networks, and disability aesthetics. Nat has exhibited work and delivered talks internationally, is a 2025 Supercollider SciArt Fellow, a 2024 Eyebeam Democracy Machine Fellow, Y10 and Y11 member of NEW INC, 2024 mentor and 2023 Processing Foundation fellow, 2024 Coaxial resident, 2024 fellow at the Decentralized web camp, and 2021 resident and current staff at ACRE Residency. Capacity: 20 - Why wait? There’s a link in bio! All workshops will be held in-person at Rip Space: 1250 Long Beach Ave #326 For more program details and workshop specifics, go to https://rrr2s.rip.space/
