Akimbo Creative Haus - 2025 Reel. Wow.  That’s the first thing we want to say. This year has been a whirlwind. Nash and I decided in November 2024 that we could not accomplish our goals individually. We needed to combine our talents, build an all-star team, and give them all of the systems and tools to succeed. We had no idea how quickly the work would come. What we’ve already produced, and will continue to produce at Akimbo, is the love child of some of the greatest minds we know coming together and pouring their skills and passion into every single project. Whether that be a 15 second sizzle reel, or the hero commercial for the Mayor of Seattle. We couldn’t have done any of this without our incredible clients, crew members, talent, staff, and everyone who trusted us in 2025.  We are so grateful for the opportunity to create and help bring your visions to life. The Akimbo Creative Haus official launch will commence in 2026 - Until then, here are some of our favorite moments from our first (unofficial) year as an agency (that we’re allowed to show - cursed NDAs)!  We are looking forward to all of the great people we will get to meet, and work with in the new year. Each of these clips, while maybe they were apart of something bigger, give me an opportunity to reflect on just that specific moment, and remind myself how thankful I am to be able to do what I love everyday. We’re so excited to share the Hero Commercial we created for our friends at @superfog.mfused , celebrating their new Ion and Flo products! Packed into one long production day, our team captured the hero spot, social-first short form assets, and product + lifestyle photography all at once. Huge thanks to our amazing clients, crew, and talent for bringing this vision to life. Yesterday Seattle chose its next Mayor. To be trusted with even a small part of that story, and helping share Katie Wilson’s vision for the city is something we don’t take lightly. It’s one thing to be a part of a moment like this, but it’s a whole different experience getting to do it with your friends, who we were so lucky to share the set with on this project. Over the past month, we’ve been deep in the creative process: concepting, scripting, shooting, and editing, and now we’re proud to share our hero commercial project for Seattle mayoral candidate @wilsonforseattle . This campaign was all about authenticity and vision, capturing Katie’s connection to the city and her message for a more equitable, sustainable Seattle. Here’s a look behind the scenes at what went into bringing it all to life, and turning this video from an idea into a final commercial in just three weeks.
