This years venue is the amazing @_mindbodylab in Wolverhampton, doors open at 7:30. Tickets are £12 each, proceeds will help to support @greenwoodsanctuary our Nard partner. Here are some pictures from last years event. Nard Birmingham 2026 will see us launch the first ever Freedom Festival. Here is our line-up: Freedom Festival. A celebration of the animal rights movement. The festival will be split into 2 parts. Part one: Voices For The Animals. This consists of, prominent figures within the movement, sanctuary owners and documentary makers. It will be hosted by one of the founding members of the Animal Liberation Front and legend Ronnie Lee.  Part 2: May All Beings Be Free.  This will be a vegan party, with music and comedy. Hosted by award winning comedian, Plant Braced. For Nard 25, we were given a budget for all materials, tshirts, posters business cards etc. Last week, we were told by Nard HQ that unfortunately we won't be given any funding. We are excited to announce that National Animal Rights Day Birmingham and @vegancoupleuk , have partnered with local vegan animal sanctuary @greenwoodsanctuary . For more information about this wonderful sanctuary, or to become a sanctuary guardian, click the Greenwoods link in our Bio. In the meantime here is some info about how this safe haven for animals started Suzanne, a lifelong animal advocate and her husband Richard shared a powerful vision to create a safe home for farmed animals to live in peace, free from the cruelty and abuse of the agricultural system. In 2021, they founded Greenwood, a beautiful 30-acre sanctuary of fields and woodland. The sanctuary’s story began with Maia, a pregnant sheep who became Greenwood’s very first resident. A few months later, she gave birth to three healthy lambs—Dottie, Domino, and Freeda. Maia was not able to feed Freeda as well as the other two, but Suzanne was quick to step in. At the same time, two cade (orphaned) lambs from a nearby farm came to live at Greenwood. They needed hand-rearing and urgent care and without Suzanne’s help, they wouldn’t have survived. Suddenly, the sanctuary had six residents, and Suzanne and Richard found themselves hand-rearing three lambs in their house! Since then, the sanctuary has grown, welcoming more animals, each with their own unique story of survival. We will be joining forces with @animaljusticeproject to expose the Arlarming reality behind dairy and to invite Starbucks customers to try plant milk instead. With the help of Animal Justice Project, we’ll be hosting an outreach event in Stoke-on-Trent.
