I have been practicing every single day of my life for this.
Ever since I visited @theengineroomuk at @umusicuk when I was nine, I dreamed of going back there to record my own songs.
After starting my @islandrecordsuk artist development, I reached out to legendary producer, who has recorded and produced with some of my favourite bands, @davidbottrillofficial , and sent him my demos. Incredibly, he agreed to help me and produced some of my songs.
David recently flew from Canada to work with me over a few days of the school half term. To have his experience and friendship behind my music really is a dream come true.
I know this is just the beginning of a long journey, but I’m so excited for what’s to come. I’m writing a song that reflects my feelings on the current state of the world. It’s so hard to see everything that’s happening in these dark times, I tried to put my feelings into these lyrics. The song is not finished yet, I just wanted to share some process with you all. I have not been posting a lot recently as I have been studying for my school exams and working on my writing skills.
